Basically favicon is logo of a website!What is used to identify a unique site through that unique sign.basically you can call it a website icon .It indicates your website in random bookmarks .it's siege may be 16*16 or 32*32.As an example when you go to google page there must see a icon on the top of the page ,as well as you can see it in your address bar.
How to create a favicon for you own website?
If you search "how to create favicon u will get a lots if ideas but that would be pretty hard to get that kind of favicon"But here i am telling you my experience how do i created my favicon(the easiest way!)
step 1-In web most people use photo shop to edit photos so you also can use it to create your own favicon picture!just search on google that o"online photo shop" the u got the page ,and there u can create your picture as you like.
step 2-when you finish your picture then download it and put it in a favicon generator.It will give you the option to change bit 32*32 or 48*48 or 62*62.when you are done just download it and put it in your website .Don't get upset if it will show up when u refresh. Just wait one or two days then it will appear on your top of the page always and one thing don't change it every day cause it is your life time icon of that website!
